A book is like a friend. We understand the world and life, or even observe ourselves through texts, and have a deep realization of oneself that we are not alone. PMQ invites different people from design and culture sectors to recommend a book, so that you can enrich yourselves as book therapy.

Why would you recommend this book?

Micheal @ 字字研究所: Create, sort out feelings and express them through different channels step by step.

When death takes away relatives or pets around, we might experience various emotions such as sadness, resentment, helplessness, and regret. With no way to unleash these emotions, we might be stuck in the pain. Art therapy helps people unleash emotions through art creation.

In Hong Kong, pandemic and social unrest suffocate people in the city. Hong Kongers need to learn how to live with separation and sadness. Through art creation, we can ignite hopes and give meaning to our lives, and overcome difficult times.
