Oishi Japan! Quality, Safety, and Charm of the Tohoku Region’s Agriculture and Fishery Products

The Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong proudly presents “Oishi Japan! Quality, Safety, and Charm of the Tohoku Region’s Agriculture and Fishery Products”, in collaboration with Asia Society Hong Kong Center and will be held at atrium of PMQ. Being part of the happenings for Japan Autumn Festival in Hong Kong – Rediscovering Nippon, the online seminar will cover topics including the quality, safety, and charm of the Tohoku region’s agriculture and fishery products. Food organization representatives in Japan will be sharing various Japanese products and its uniqueness with audiences through five different livestreaming sessions.

Tohoku region, located at the North-east region of the Japan mainland, is famous of the varieties of its agriculture and fishery products. To maintain both the quality and safety of food products, the effort of the whole manufacture chain is required, from the farmers and fishermen, to factories and breweries, also the government and exporters. Different aspects of the producing procedure will be introduced by the speakers from 6 organizations.

*The seminars will be conducted in Japanese, simultaneous translation in Cantonese
