The Mid-Autumn Festival is an important Chinese gala to congregate all family members, lovers, friends and neighbors to enjoy the full moon – an auspicious symbol of abundance, harmony and luck together.

PMQ will be the venue partner, cooperate with the organizer – FEED to host “La Moon Market” from 8th to 11th in September, 2016 at the Central PMQ. With the cooperation with UNICEF HK, all proceeds will be donated to “Team UNICEF World Run” to help the children in need.

This market will feature delicacies, shopping, games, charities and riddles activities. Public are welcome to enjoy a variety of cuisines and fine wine, or purchase various kinds of daily commodities that are ran or supported by several celebrities – including Mr. Stefan Wong, Mr. Sam Lee, Mr. Edwin Siu, Mr. Alan Wan, Mr. King Kong, Ms. Grace Wong and so on. It is a star-studded event you should never miss in this September!

As PMQ is an iconic landmark and public space of community, one of the design units of PMQ – “STYLUS STUDIO” will make use of traditional bamboo scaffolds technique to create the Mid-Autumn Festival lantern decorations on HOLLYWOOD GARDEN. Besides, there are many traditional lantern decorations related to Mid-Autumn Festival which designed by PMQ’s 22 design units, including 513 Paint Shop, Alternative Country, Cafe Life, Chailie Ho Fashion Ltd, cocoon architecture, FlowPlusLiving, G.O.D., Levain Bakery, Maison Bremond 1830, Match Showroom, Mr. Hammer, onanoff living, Oscary Art, Phoenix Sweets Limited, ro, SOIL, STYLUS STUDIO, THE DOT – Central Store, the HK room, Waka Artisans, Whitehole Design Ltd, WHOSTHATshop), local design team and public, and public are encouraged to join our Lantern Riddles (some riddles are assigned by artists). Let’s hang out with friends to cherish the moment together and experience the festive atmosphere of family reunion.

  • Public can get a charity DIY lantern, shopping and dining coupons worth up to HK$500, stickers for lantern decoration and lucky draw chance for a box of durian mooncake in HK$50. All proceeds will be donated to UNICEF.

Take the lead to enroll the first connected Charity Race in Hong Kong

  • With the cooperation with UNICEF HK, public can be the first to enroll on the Team UNICEF World Run, a connected charity race to help vulnerable children all over the world that organizes on 9th October.
  • Participants can run 10 km alone or with your team wherever you are, at the hour of your choice, and challenge runners from all countries.
  • Registration fee (HKD150 minimum) is a donation and 100% will go to UNICEF. Pre-enrollees will receive a Team UNICEF Welcome Pack.
  • Apart from that, the stall features a UNICEF 360 VR experience for publics to have a better understanding of their charity work.
