The Chairman of the Board of Directors of PMQ, Mr Stanley Chu, welcomed the Government’s announcement on the arrangement for the financial assistance of $25 million for PMQ under the second round of the Anti-epidemic Fund (AEF) to be effective from today (May 1).

Mr Chu said, “Our tenants are facing grave financial difficulties with the drop of visitors and businesses, and hence revenue. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the Government’s financial assistance under the AEF, providing the most needed lifeline for tenants of PMQ to ride out this very difficult period.”

“The Board of Directors is elated at the support of the Government. We are more determined than ever to realise PMQ’s mission to curate a local design hub as a not-for-profit creative landmark which will continue to provide all the needed assistance to groom local creative talents and designers, and connect them with local and international design communities for seeking more business opportunities,” he added.
