A book is like a friend. We understand the world and life, or even observe ourselves through texts, and have a deep realization of oneself that we are not alone. PMQ invites different people from design and culture to recommend a book, so that you can enrich yourselves as book therapy.

Why would you recommend this book?

Coco Chanel undoubtedly is the most famous designer in the world by providing comfortable clothing with a simple style and to associate her clothing design with the feminism. Her design was popular in banquets in the 1920s and 1930s, and the design emphasized gorgeousness. In an era when women needed corsets, she freed women from corsets to make them light. Her long hair was cut shorter and shorter for work. Inspired by menswear, she designed classic tweed jackets in women's sportswear that is suitable for outdoor activities.

But Chanel once said: "I am not a heroine. But i have chosen the person i wanted to be." Stay true to yourself, that's how you can define your own style.
