A book is like a friend. We understand the world and life, or even observe ourselves through texts, and have a deep realization of oneself that we are not alone. PMQ invites different people from design and culture sectors to recommend a book, so that you can enrich yourselves as book therapy.

Why would you recommend this book?

編編: I noticed this book because I came across a picture on Instagram. The content there is incredibly funny. I immediately noticed that the first sentence is inspired by the bible quote "Love is patient; love is kind". It was translated by pastor Leung and written in the book “Sing XXXX to the Lord”. . To preach with a new approach with wit and fun, it is much easier for young believers to understand the bible, it can also attract more non-Christians to be interested in the content of the Bible. Nowadays, even missionaries need to be reformed to draw more followers.

52 scriptures are quoted in the book, reinterpreted in local Cantonese language, and then embedded messages of how we deal with Hong Kong society. Pastor Leung is not preaching how good Christianity is, but frankly confessing that Christianity also has its weaknesses. He practises the Bible on his own, "Whoever humbles himself like this little child, he is the greatest in heaven." (Matthew 18:4) Attitudes and actions speak louder than words.
