This workshop offers an introduction to kiln-fired enamel on copper, a process that fuses glass to metal through high heat. Guided step by step, participants will create a series of small enamel charms while developing a practical understanding of layering, color application, and kiln firing.
Working on pre-prepared copper bases, you will explore how transparent and opaque enamels respond to heat, and how timing and temperature influence surface quality and color variation.
The transformative nature of fire means that no two pieces are ever identical — each charm develops its own unique character.
Workshop Highlights :
- Preparation and understanding of copper as an enameling base
