Founder of Emi & Eve, Cassandra Postema, will visit Loupe to share her passion for sustainable sourcing and jewellery design. She will talk about the challenges of founding a jewellery brand that supports the local Cambodian community and about the day-to-day stories in her workshop. Working with Cambodian artists, Emi & Eve turns decommissioned exploded ordnance and spent bullet castings into jewellery. The eye-catching accessories line is modern and inimitable, and made all the more fascinating with the use of natural gemstones sourced in Cambodia. The jewellery is all about celebrating positivity out of adversity – from bombs to beauty. If we can transform a negative experience into a positive outcome, the world will become a better place for everyone. Emi & Eve is currently exhibiting their jewellery at Loupe till the end of October.
This seminar is part of Loupe’s inaugural “”Winter Talk Series”", a special line up of guest speakers in the jewellery and design industry who will share their experience with the public.
*Includes one Jewellery Delicacy tea set provided by Loupe’s Teahouse.
