The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong and the Seoul Museum of Art present the exhibition KITSCH & POP: Korean Pop Art Now, on view until November 22, 2025.
The exhibition offers a timely re-examination of Korean Pop Art, highlighting its significance amid the global spread of K-pop and K-culture. It features new works by young, post-internet artists who have been active since the 2010s—including Sunpil Don @kitsutaiten, Mirim Chu @chumirim, Sangho Noh, Raejung Sim, Sungsil Ryu, and Jeongsu Woo. These are presented alongside selected works from the Seoul Museum of Art’s collection by Kyoung Tack Hong, Donghyun Son, MeeNa Park, and Shinhye Kim representatives of the Korean Pop Art movement from the early to mid-2000s.
