Description

Provision of labour, tool and material to replace batteries for Central Battery System and associated work for the emergency lighting is required.  The replacement work is required to be completed within 4 months upon confirmation.

Enquiry of work details deadline: 12:00 noon, 22 January, 2026 via email to tender@pmq.org.hk.  Any enquiry submitted thereafter will not be considered.

Submission of Application/Tender

The following is the mandatory submission and should be submitted together with the Tender:

1. Company/Business Registration License & Registered Electrical Contractor Licence
2. Company profile, organization chart and CV of key staff;
3. Job reference of relevant work experiences with contract sums over HK$1 million for a single job in the past 5 years

Failure to submit and incomplete submission of the mandatory information will not be considered.

A tenderer must submit its tender in hard copy.  Late submission will not be accepted.

The tender must be sealed in an envelope, clearly marked with “Invitation for Quotation for Replacement of Batteries for Central Battery System for Emergencey Lighting at PMQ” with Reference No. on the outside of the envelope (but should not bear any indication which may relate the tender to the tenderer) addressed to PMQ Management Company Limited and placed in the Tender Box situated at the S614, 6/F, Block A , PMQ, 35 Aberdeen Street, Central, Hong Kong by 12:00 noon, 6 February 2026.  Tenders must be deposited in the tender box as specified in this tender notice (“Specified Tender Box”) before the tender closing time. Late tenders and tenders not deposited in the Specified Tender Box will not be accepted.

The tender closing date may be extended under the following circumstances :-

• If tropical cyclone signal No. 8 or above, or a black rainstorm warning signal is hoisted or if “extreme conditions after super typhoons” announced by the Government is in force at any time between 9am and 12 noon on the tender closing date, the tender closing time will be extended to 12 noon on the first working day after the tropical cyclone signal No. 8 is lowered, or the black rainstorm warning signal or the “extreme conditions after super typhoons” announced by the Government has/have ceased to be in force. Saturday is not counted as a working day. The announcements on “extreme conditions after super typhoons” will be made via press releases website of the Information Services Department (https://www.info.gov.hk/gia/general/today.htm);
• If there is a blockage of the public access to the location of the Specified Tender Box at any time between 9am. and 12noon on the tender closing date, PMQ Management Company Ltd. will announce extension of the tender closing date and time until further notice. Following removal of the blockage, PMQ Management Company Ltd. will announce the extended tender closing date and time as soon as practicable. PMQ Management Company Ltd. will notify tenderers of the extension in tender closing date and time via emails; or
• If there is any other reason which in PMQ Management Company Ltd.’s view shall affect the close of tender, PMQ Management Company Ltd. will notify tenderers of the extension in tender closing date and time via emails.

Remarks :

Open tendering is adopted.  Contractors on Electrical and Mechanical Services Department’s list of Registered Electrial Contractor who also meet the mandatory submission and other conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents are invited to tender.  Tender document should consist of (1) a valid Company/Business Registration License & Registered Electrical Contractor License, (2) Company profile, organization chart and CV of key staff; (3) Job reference of relevant work experiences with contract sums over HK$1 million for a single job in the past 5 years.

PMQ Management Company Ltd. does not bind itself to accept any tender irrespective of whether the tender is the lowest bid or where the assessment of the tenders is based on a marking scheme or formula approach, the tender with the highest overall score.

PMQ Management Company Ltd. reserves the right to negotiate with any tenderer about the terms of the offer.
