Reservation and Heritage Tour Guidelines

  1. Applications will be handled on a first-come-first-served basis according to the quota set out per each tour.
  2. Charitable or non-profit-making organisations registered in Hong Kong: The organisation should be registered under the Societies Ordinance or the Companies Ordinance, formed by statue, registered on the list of approved charitable institutions or trusts of a public character. If necessary, the organisation shall provide photocopies of one of the supporting documents as listed below for verification of the eligibility:
    1. Letter issued by the Inland Revenue Department under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance; or
    2. List of Approved Charitable Institutions and Trusts of a Public Character published on the Government Gazette; or
    3. Letter issued by the Social Welfare Department stating that the organisation is government subvented; or
    4. The organisation’s Constitution or Memorandum and Articles of Association, Ordinance, or Trust Deed should state that members of the organisation do not take any share of the profits nor any share of the assets upon the dissolution of the organisation.
  3. Copies of supporting documents required as above should be certified by an authorized officer of the organisation and furnished with official chop.
  4. We accept reservations (for PMQ Interpretation Guided Tour) from 2 months to 2 weeks in advance preceding the visit. PMQ reserves the right not to consider any application made more than 2 months or less than 2 weeks before the date of visit.
  5. PMQ do not accept any tour which is organised by local or oversea agent.
  6. Confirmation letter(s) will be emailed to successful applicant(s). No change is allowed for any tour after confirmation letter has been issued.
  7. Visitors should present confirmation letter and identity proofs for verification before joining the tour.
  8. PMQ reserves final decision on the above-mentioned reservation and tour arrangements.
  9. All applicants have the right to request access to and make correction of personal data as stated in this form in accordance with Section 18, 22 and Principle 6 of Schedule 1 to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Personal data provided in this form will be used for arranging docent service and will enter in the record of PMQ.

Visitor Guidelines

  1. All visitors must arrive at the designated meeting point on time. PMQ reserve the right to take out the late comer(s) from the tour.
  2. For safety reasons, visitors should not run, sit or play in PMQ.
  3. Flashes or tripods are not allowed for photography or video recording in the Underground Interpretation Area and the 5/F Exhibition Area of PMQ. Written applications are required for any commercial photography or video recording in PMQ.
  4. Please do not make excessive noise during visits.
  5. Please do not write on, soil or damage any exhibit, installation, wall or facilities of PMQ.
  6. To keep a clean and safe place, please do not eat, drink, smoke or kindle any fire in the Underground Interpretation Area and the Exhibition Area of PMQ.
  7. Visitors should show others respect. Those who cause nuisance to other visitors may be warned or asked to leave PMQ.
  8. Visitors are responsible and liable for any damage they cause to any artefact or facilities of PMQ.
  9. Visitors shall take care of their own belongings and safety. PMQ bears no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage of personal belongings or any accident happened on its premises.
  10. Cloakrooms are not available in PMQ. Please do not bring valuables or large objects or baggage.
  11. Parking lots are NOT available at PMQ.
