Be immersed in an assortment of fun-filled experiences, including henna, tinikling (bamboo dancing), African Djembe try-outs and mini leather wallet making workshops. Enjoy performances including dancing, drumming, music, cultural diversity fashion show and much more. Treat yourself to beautiful handicrafts made by our ladies, and other partners.

This upbeat cultural extravaganza will teach you more about the stories, talents, skills, hopes and dreams of amazing men and women who do not choose to leave their countries, but are building a new life for their families, free from fear, with dignity, hope and dreams for the future.

NGO, Centre for Refugees (CFR), has been the first and only drop-in community centre for asylum seekers and refugees in Hong Kong. Based at Chungking Mansions in TST, CFR creates an inclusive community for refugees by fulfilling their humanitarian needs, providing opportunities for their future and empowering them to live with hope and dignity. CFR supports over 700 active beneficiaries who represent a diverse cross-section of Hong Kong, hailing from dozens of countries and escaping political or religious persecution, war and violence.
