Shimenawa (しめ縄Shimenawa) is a traditional handcrafts wreaths from Japan. The origins of the note can be traced back to ancient Japanese Shinto beliefs, which say it is a connection between humans and gods, protecting people from evil.

Therefore, Shimenawa plays a very important role in Japanese culture. It is not just a military item, but also an object with the meaning of blessing and protection. People can express their prayers to themselves and their families, as well as their respect and gratitude to the gods.
