⤵ About the Tutor

Loraine Wong, the Senior Programme Manager at Print Art Contemporary, graduated with a Master’s degree in Creative and Cultural Enterprises from Goldsmiths, University of London. She also majored in Visual Communication at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Loraine is one of the few new-generation letterpress artists and typesetters in Hong Kong. She learned letterpress printing from local pressman Lam On, while dedicating herself to the preservation and promotion of letterpress, which is recognised locally as intangible cultural heritage. She explores the possibilities of combining centuries-old printing techniques with contemporary design, hoping to breathe new life into the art of letterpress.
