Play Me, I’m Yours” is an art project initiated by UK artist Luke Jerram, which has been touring internationally since 2008. More than 1400 pianos have been installed in 47 cities across the globe, bearing the simple invitation “Play Me, I’m Yours”. The project has reached more than 8 million people worldwide, with each new city that commissions the work becoming part of a growing legacy.

In the year 2015, “Play Me, I’m Yours” lands in Hong Kong. As an international city, Hong Kong is the nest of accomplished professionals. “Play Me, I’m Yours” marries the theme of “Our Hong Kong, Our Talents” to give the project a unique Hong Kong fashion. The stars of the project – 16 pianos were designed by local artists featuring many distinctive elements of Hong Kong. They are currently displayed at PMQ, the headquarters for the pianos, as well as one of the hosts of various creative and electrifying performances during August to December. The Pianos will also be used for pop-up events across the city, inviting the public to play and enjoy music, moreover to share happiness through music within the community. The project hopes to bring a blend of music, art, elegance and interaction to the people of Hong Kong.
