A unique opportunity to try sushi by Fukuoka locals’ favourite chef Tadao Obayashi.
On September 24th Sake Central is proud to welcome the legendary Sushi Naniwa into their kitchen for a very special pop up! Established in the 1970s, it remains a small family run business with the second generation owner and chef Tadao Obayashi running it with his wife, mother and a couple of helpers for the last 20 years.
Over the years, Sushi Naniwa has earned its reputation as one of the best places in Fukuoka for serving Hanata-mae style nigiri sushi with impeccably fresh and locally sourced produce. So we brought a little piece of Fukuoka right here to Hong Kong!
Come and enjoy chef Obayashi’s omakase menu and explore how the unique Fukuoka umami rich sushi style can be paired with different varieties of sake. With only two seatings, space is limited, so make sure you make a booking ahead of time!
