Renowned chef and owner of Milk Bar, a famous dessert and bakery restaurant located in New York, Christina Tosi says in her book All About Book that the best part of the cake should be the cake itself. She questions why people spending tremendous amount of time to make a cake looks good while the taste of it is boring. People have more excitement looking at a nice cake rather than the moment of eating it.
This upcoming session of Cooking with Andy Dark, our curator/ chef Andy will pick out some of the most interesting elements from Tosi’s book and create an unique and genuine cake for all of you! If you have a friend or family member whose birthday is coming up soon, it may be a perfect time to learn from Andy and take a cake home and celebrate with them!
