Painting cannot get easier than this. Try looking and you will fail! Yes! You definitely can make your own version of Andy Warhol Portraiture. Join the league of Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor. The painting will be so beautiful you won’t believe you made them yourself.

You don’t have to use self-portrait. You could choose a photo of your loved one, a pet or landscapes etc etc. Someone or something that you find special with which you want to turn them into a painting.

The image of your choice will digital printed onto canvas to act as an underpainting. We will show how to use acrylic paint to mimic what Andy Warhol achieved with screen printing. You will be able to pick up some very useful painting techniques. It’s very fun and suitable for art lovers of all levels. Don’t worry if you don’t know anything about painting and has not yet gone anywhere near a brush since the age of 3. We will guide you through the whole way Just join us and play with the pop art palette.

Tips on Image Selection:
(1) High quality and Larger Resolution Image taken with a camera. As the image needs to be blown up , small and blurry image doesn’t work. You could use pictures taken with smartphone. Just don’t compress them or modify them with apps. Send us the original.

(2) Image with more light and dark contrast. This helps in enhancing the overall silhouette of your facial features.

(3) A close up shots work better. Think of Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor. Close up shots is not a must as I can crop your head out. But the image needs to be of high quality.

(4) It could be a picture of colour or black and white, either ways the image will need to be tuned and modified to the right working condition for the painting.

If you are not quite sure which image to use, send me a few, and I’ll give you some advice as to which one would work best ~

Image need to be submitted at 8 days before the class starts as the printing takes time to process e-mail us at hello@mbart.co to RSVP
