Artist Li Xiao-qiao extends his work “Recursive Impressions” by transforming its impressions into sound waves and producing them as a vinyl record, inviting audiences to experience “printmaking that can be heard”. He will also share how technology can connect printmaking and sound art, transforming processes such as engraving, embossing, and transfer printing into methods of sound-making and listening.
