【A Taste of Persistance: Sohomare Sake】

Sake is the Japanese national beverage. Although it looks clear as water, tremendous effort was spent in every single bottle. This November, PMQ Taste Library is honored to collaborating with Cella Masumi Asia Limited again, to invite Mr. Jun Kono, CEO of Sohomare Sake Brewery and a graduate of The Matsushita Institute of Government and Management, to conduct a seminar on Kimoto sake.

In brief, Kimoto is one of the brewing methods (indeed the original method) that results a more complex, pronouced and wilder-flavored sake, and Sohomare Sake Brewery is one of the few breweries still continues to produce sake in such traditional method.

In additional, PMQ Taste Library assistant curator, Andy Lai, will also demonstrate a few Nikkei small eats and pair them with the sake. If you would love to learn more about the sake culture and Nikkei cuisine, you better not to miss this special experience!
