PMQ has invited the renowned select store MEETSCAL STORE, run by the Japanese retail giant PARCO, to open their first overseas pop-up store at Design PMQ (HG13, G/F, PMQ) from 6th to 25th September this year, showcasing Japan’s latest trendy goods. PMQ has been committed to bring in top creative talents to Hong Kong, by collaborating with creative and design units around the world to share with design enthusiasts.
PARCO has selected a variety of designers’ products for this first-ever overseas pop-up store, featuring Japanese fashion brands and a wide range of creative products which Hong Kong people are familiar with and in love with, including SUSHI suitcase cover, TOMATO X PORTER’s tote bag, TOMATO X UNDERCOVER’s T-shirt, KITTY X FABRICK’s fabric goods, kikilala X SHINOBU ONO’s design products and vlli vlli’s nail decals etc.
The exchange program between PMQ and PARCO fosters the creative exchange between Hong Kong and Japan, and offers design tenants of both parties a chance to reach overseas markets. Designers at PMQ are also ready to showcase their own designers’ products at the flagship MEETSCAL STORE in Aoyama, Tokyo. Details will be announced, so stay tuned.
