Central & Western District Orienteering cum Let’s Go Sports Fun Fair
Kai Tak Sports Initiative (a community project of Kai Tak Sports Park) proudly presents the “Let’s Go Sports Fun Fair” on 22-23 October at PMQ.
There will be booths set up on the G/F with lots of sports accessories and health and lifestyle items. Apart from that, we are also featuring various types of sports performances and workshops for everyone to participate in for free. Come and join us!
Moreover, we will collaborate with Y2Y Orienteering to hold the Orienteering Race using PMQ as start and end points. Let’s navigate and explore each checkpoint together!
★ Parent-child Orienteering Experience
Searching various checkpoints inside PMQ with your family. Certificates and exquisite gifts will be presented to each family after the experience.
★ Youth Orienteering
Teenagers aged 12-18 are welcome to join the City Orienteering Competition around the PMQ, visit the most check-in points within one hour and strive for the best ranking, come and take the challenge!
★ Elite Orienteering
No age limit for the Open and Elite Group. You may even take public transport during the competition, planning and strategy are also important in addition to your stamina!
- The Open Group will compete on reaching the most checkpoints within 2 hours in the Central & Western part of Hong Kong Island.
- The Elite Group needs to push both their bodies and minds to the limit for this challenge. Compete against time in the entire northern part of Hong Kong Island, the team with the highest score will be titled “The King of Orienteering” of the day.
As Halloween is around the corner, all participants are invited to dress up for the event. The most outstanding team will be selected from each group and offered fabulous gifts.
