Deliveroo believes food truly elicits emotions and memories, connecting the unique moments with relationships. Food truly unites us, and Deliveroo is here to deliver the city’s finest gourmet eats to your doorstep.

To celebrate its 6th anniversary, Deliveroo will be hosting “The Grain of Life Exhibition” at PMQ from 4 to 7 November 2021, where you will discover profound yet relatable stories about rice and its effects on the daily lives of Hong Kongers.

“The Grain of Life Exhibition”: Four thematic areas
1. Zone of the Myriad Flavours of Rice – Deliveroo re-creates a vintage rice shop allowing visitors to explore the diverse charms of rice. How much does five buckets of rice weigh? What are the most popular delivery rice dishes served to households? All will be revealed.

2. Zone of a Collective Memories – Four giant installations of interactive grains of rice will be prominently displayed, each carrying a story of a Hong Konger. Local illustrator Kazy Chan and celebrity guides Eman Lam, Joey Leung and Mike Tsang will share and narrate these heartfelt stories with visitors.

3. Zone of Everyday Inspiration – A series of interviews with those who work closest with rice in their daily lives will be showcased. The exhibition also features digital pixel photography technology using rice grains as pixels for the first-time ever in Hong Kong. Participants can also take a rice pixel photo of their own at the photo booth to get a taste of the “grain of life”.

4. Zone of Serendipity – A series of miniature figurines within a city scene will show the evolution of Hong Kong’s takeaway culture. Limited-edition souvenirs are also available to celebrate the humble rice grain and Deliveroo’s 6th anniversary.

“We Live Food” at Deliveroo and continue to link the delicacies from around the city, sharing the best food with customers.

Visitors are invited to search for Deliveroo vouchers hidden throughout the exhibition.
