PRESENTED & ORGANIZED
PMQ

Moments slip, a feeling fades, and all that lingers is a soft “Ahhhhhh.” These fragments don’t need logic or labels. “Project Ahhhhhh” is an invitation to inhabit the edges of these fleeting sensations.

The first chapter, “Deadline”, begins in May. Through conversation, experiences, taste, and books, we’ll explore together the meaning of farewell and presence. When the end comes into view, life deepens.

Join us at PMQ. In the stillness of the everyday, let us begin at the end.

3:30 – 4:30pm Drink of Life

A lifetime, distilled into four sips.
Journey through sound and flavor to reconnect with yourself. Together, we honor the past, ground ourselves in the now, and let go of lingering echoes.

Bring your story. Transform your history into wisdom, and find your calm in every drop of tomorrow.

5.16 (Sat) 4:30 – 6:00pm 【Healing to Wholeness】 Healing tools are more than objects; they are echoes of our inner silence. Whether through the intuitive pull of a card or the ancient alignment of the stars, we find ourselves standing at the threshold of the unknown.

We do not seek to conquer death, but to befriend the mystery of living. Here, the end is not a wall, but a doorway—a chance to see our existence not as a countdown, but as a vast, unfolding canvas.

5.16 (Sat) 2:00 – 3:30pm 【“The Land of Bliss” Screening & Experience Session】 Four young souls are lost in a sudden accident. As they look back, they realize that the tethers of family and desire still pull at them. “The Land of Bliss”, awarded Best Cinematography at Fresh Wave, explores the unresolved bonds that bridge the gap between life and death.

We invite you to go beyond the screen. This is a guided exploration of mortality, beginning with sound and meditation to turn “life and death” into a tangible sensation. Through creative reflection—writing or visual art—we will hold space for the things you have yet to say. Step into this journey and transform observation into a personal awakening.

5.17 (Sun) 4:00 – 5:00pm 【Book Club: Reading the Destination】 Questions about life and death often unfold quietly within stories. Through the narrative flow of literature and the interplay of imagery and negative space in picture books, death and farewells become something we can observe and imagine.

Different forms of reading can open up different ways of feeling. Between pages and portraits, we gaze upon loss and transformation, rethinking what it means to live. We invite you to turn the pages and join the conversation.

【Family Recipes: The Flavours of My Grandma】 Some flavors stay with us, woven into everyday life. We all have that one dish — a recipe passed down from a grandmother or a loved one who remains in our hearts. These recipes carry more than instructions; they hold shared moments and stories. Presented in two sessions with different guests, the programme brings family dishes to life through live cooking and conversation.

Session 1: 5.17【Family Recipes: The Flavours of My Grandma – Steve Li】

From kneading dough to preparing fillings, film director Steven Li follows his grandmother’s cherished recipe to recreate authentic Hubei-style shaomai. Infused with a bold peppery aroma, this dish revives the nostalgic flavors of a family legacy.

Session 2: 5.25【Family Recipes: The Flavours of My Grandma – Sugar Granny】

The grandsons behind “Sugar Granny” shared their journey of learning traditional Hakka tea dumplings from his 92-year-old grandmother. This session is dedicated to preserving heritage techniques and the warmth of human connection, ensuring the stories behind the recipes live on.

On the day of the event, participants will have the opportunity to join the making process, creating and sharing together to keep these delicious memories alive.
