The Rebel Mums (TRM) is one of the first fashion brands in the world with a mission to start a new conversation around motherhood. TRM is a fashion brand meant for badass mums. The brand was born out of our founder Selene Xie’s first hand experiences as a woman and a mother.

Mothers are often expected to be self-less that they forget about self-love. We want to create beautiful clothes for mothers to have fun in and to celebrate motherhood. We want mothers to feel confident, powerful, and sexy in our clothes. Our design is fun, fashionable and fabulous.

Founder’s Background

From a young age, Selene Xie was immersed in diverse and contrasting cultures, growing up between Hong Kong, Shanghai, and the United States. Gifted with the ability to draw at a young age, Selene was already drawing people and quickly moved on to drawing different styles of clothing, shoes, bags, and hair. “I’ve always been obsessed with drawing, especially anything related to fashion.” She soon turned her passion into a career, studying and working in fashion in San Francisco, New York and Hong Kong. Selene launched The Rebel Mums in Hong Kong in 2023.
