POMCH is a leather goods designer brand based in Hong Kong, founded in 2011. The brand started up base from a university project, a unique creation from experiment testing with industrial technology – vacuum forming. The product was a big success and had been selected and sponsored by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University for launching POMCH’s first collection – Vacuum Forming series. POMCH has now successfully launched two concept stores in Hong Kong, point of distribution around worldwide fashion retailers.
Lately, POMCH also began to exhibit in Paris Fashion Week TRANOI Trade Show, Copenhagen Fashion Week CIFF, Germany DMY International Design Festival, Singapore Blueprint Exhibition, South Korea SIHF, Seoul Craft Trend Fair, Shanghai OnTimeShow, etc., The brand impressed and was chosen by fashion buyers, and received high praise from foreign media, including Elle, Marie Claire, Hypebeast,etc.
POMCH not only participates in fashion accessories design, but also cooperates with brands and companies in interior design, graphic design, installation art, advertising cooperation, POP UP setup, etc., including IT, New Balance, MAC Cosmetic, Canon, D-mop, Bauhaus, Tiger Beer, Log-on, D2 place and more. Through different cooperation, activities and exhibitions, we have continued to create unique and innovative products for POMCH and Hong Kong design, which are different from traditional design companies.
TAI KA CHEONG (Felix) was born in 1988, graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design, majoring in industrial and product design. He founded POMCH in collaboration with university classmate in 2011. In 2014, the first store was opened in Hong Kong PMQ, and counters were set up in different parts of Hong Kong later. In addition to handbag design, he also engaged in other creative industries, including installation art, interior design, product design, graphic design, etc. He was awarded including Perspective Award, International E-waste Design Award etc., his award-winning design has been exhibited around the world.
