TK Chiang – TK is a founder of Doma’s predecessor, Orion Partners. He was Managing Director and head of Totalecom, a PCCW affiliated investment firm, as well as Managing Director of Richmont and Richmont-Parly, a Dallas/Geneva dual-family office.
TK started his career in venture capital in 1986 at Technology Funding Inc. in Silicon Valley and started one of the first Asian hedge funds in 1996. He has completed the President’s Program at Harvard Business School, MBA from Santa Clara University, and BA and BS in Economics and Physiology from University of California, Davis. He is a Trustee of the University of California, Davis Foundation, founding member of the World Food Center’s Asian Council, member of Young Presidents Organization and co-editor of HKVCA Journal.
John Saliling – John has over 25 years’ experience in investment and leading multi-national businesses, as a senior regional executive & professional adviser. At Orion, John was a partner and the CEO of NASH, a publicly listed company in Hong Kong with investments throughout North Asia with nearly US$ 1Bil in sales.
Prior to joining Orion, John was the Managing Director of Cisco Systems consulting for Asia Pacific where he worked with leading companies and government officials in the region. Before Cisco, he was Founder & CEO of Similan.com, a regional e-commerce company and COO of Eutech, an enterprise software company. He was also a Principal & co-head of the Asia Pacific, TMT strategy practice, for Booz Allen – an international management consulting firm. John also holds board positions in multi-national companies, investment funds and start-ups. John holds a MBA in finance, a Master of Engineering and a BS degree from Cornell University, USA.
Tee Ween Tan – Tee Ween joined Doma’s predecessor Orion Partners in 2008, where he was a Responsible Officer of its investment advisory entity, responsible for all private equity and advisory activities. He has 18 years of private equity and banking experience within the region.
Tee Ween started his private equity career with the private equity subsidiary of UOB Bank. Prior to that, he was with Mitsubishi UFJ handling loan syndications and debt restructuring for large corporations. He is licensed with the Hong Kong SFC for Type 4 and Type 6 activities. He holds a BBA (Hons) degree majoring in finance from the National University of Singapore. Tee Ween is a CFA® charterholder.
