和家工藝通過手工製作的陶瓷展示了最優秀的日本文化。展出從東京百公里以外笠間區的特色手工製作餐具,包括茶杯,盤子和碗。而對日本米酒特別感興趣,這裡亦有各種各樣的手工日本酒杯。

笠間區製陶歷史悠久,並採用了多種粘土和特殊燒製技藝創造出優雅和富現代感的陶器。每一塊均被和家工藝創始人 Takako Kosciuszko 親自挑選,以確保他們既是精美獨特的藝術品,亦能適合日常使用。

關於設計師
和家工藝創始人 Takako Kosciuszko 最初與陶器結緣由作為一個廚師開始,她製作日本融合料理,配合使用不同的紋理和顏色的餐具呈現她的美食。而日本傳統藝術培訓,包括花道(插花)和著名的日本茶道,亦提升她對日本陶器簡潔和設計實用性的欣賞。她曾擔任於倫敦著名的百貨商店,Thomas Goode的陶藝顧問。
