【Learning the craft of wagashi from world-renowned master】

Famed wagashi artisan, Mr. Junichi Mitsubori, will visit PMQ Taste Library and host TWO master classes, introducing his own school of kadō (the Kado Ichika-ryu) and teaching related techniques.

✭ Master Class A – One Day (Basic Work)

In this one-day class, you will learn:

- Colour adjustments and gradation, techniques in blending colours
- Nerikiri wrapping techniques
- Basic column and sphere shaping and forming techniques
- Making 6 designs (Camellia, Princess Chrysanthemum, Swan, A Flower Remembered, Japanese Iris and Dianthus)

*The workshop will be cancelled if Typhoon Signal No.8 or above is hoisted or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued 3 hours before the workshop begins. Refund would be arranged for participants who have already paid for the Workshop. Further details would be sent to you via email after the Typhoon Signal No.8 or higher or Black Rainstorm Warning is lowered.
