“TWENTY” – A Solo Exhibition of New Paintings by Xu Zhen, co-hosted by Mr Adrian Cheng, David Chau and MadeIn Company, will be held at PMQ, where the extravagant and monolithic installations will create a spectacle; a sea of pastel coloured forms reminiscent of confectionary delights. The new series “TWENTY ” from Under Heaven continues to explore the artist’s concept of “art pieces as commodities”, through multiple platforms incorporating painting, installation and video, to expose cultural assumptions and generate discussion about conventions of creative production.
