Joining the PMQ Wow Summer Fair this year, PMQ Taste Library and Run 2 Tree Studio jointly presents: the Summer Sorbet Workshop! In this Workshop, children and parents will create visually and textually delightful sorbets in an hour with fresh fruits and liquid nitrogen. The Workshop begins with Eric from Run 2 Tree Studio talking about what the “Ugly Veggies” are. Because of differences in the growing process, a minority of the fruits and vegetables are grown into “weird” shapes which do not look “normal” compared to the majority.

However, it does not mean they are inedible. They taste just the same and contain the same nutritional value as the “normal” ones do. We hope that children and parents could rethink the meaning of beauty and ugliness through this Workshop. After that, Andy, curator of PMQ Taste Library will be teaching participants making the sorbet. Children are encouraged to decorate their unique summer sorbet with snacks. Let’s spend this weekend escaping the heat with the refreshing treat!

Language: Conducted mainly in Cantonese

Limited seats available, prior registration required!
