Mentor: David Chan

Mr. David Chan, who is the President of the Hong Kong Paper Art Association, since learning origami from his grandmother, he has immersed in the world of paper art. With over forty years of experience, he masters different forms of paper art, including paper cutting, origami, paper quilling, paper weaving and paper silhouette. His works have received high recognition worldwide, and are frequently used for local advertisement.

To promote paper art, Mr. Chan has published a series of books and organized workshops regularly. On 23 May, Mr. Chan will organize Paper Cutting Workshop at See Through Craftsman. Participants can learn the history and knowledge of Chinese Paper Cutting, as well as create their own paper cut works.
