Karen Aruba Art 品牌由本地插画师Karen于2015年 创立,以独特具创意的插画细记背后的故事。

Karen擅长针笔素描,溷合时尚的绘画风格,透过自学的坚持与创作的热诚,以旅游及文化生活作为创作灵感。

去年12月,Karen 于国际创意设计展览的 Design Without Boundaries 主题内展出独特的麻雀插画生活 设计,是十位国际设计师中唯一的香港代表。Karen 期望透过插画延续家族的工艺及文化特色,用创意传承香港独特的麻雀工艺故事。

Inspired by family ties in the mahjong tile manufacturing business since 1950s, Karen Aruba Art presents the ‘How to Make Mahjong’ story – an intimate tale that combines family heritage and Hong Kong culture, showcasing how this city’s old tradition of mahjong craftsmanship is transformed into artistry, and how her illustrations can easily integrate into any home decor setting – even a single print – thanks to advanced technology! Creativity, originality, value-adding: that is the faith of Karen Aruba Art to spread this around the world.
