Traditionally throughout history, visual artists have been creating objects in a variety of disciplines, such as painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography and other artistic endeavors for centuries. Art was considered as the highest form of expression in the 17th century, and since then the boundaries between each artistic school has been redefined. In this seminar participants will explore how visual artists like Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali transferred their own creative visions into wearable pieces of art.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn how form and function transformed creative expression into a new way of seeing. The result is an interesting discussion about what is jewellery and how we come to define it as such.
