From 28 September to 7 October 2018, Design Week Kyoto – Hong Kong 2018 will be unveiled in Hong Kong at PMQ 元創方 Central. We are delighted to welcome eight Mastercraftsmen to join us at Design Week Kyoto Hong Kong to demonstrate their handcraft and design works to the general public.

In Japan, it is rare for Mastercraftsmen to have the opportunity to showcase their work due to the secretive nature of the industry. During this exhibition, visitors will able to see the specialist techniques that are signature to the various industries.

#DWKHK will offer full creative workshop, design dialogue, and craftsmanship demonstration for visitors to reach a new level of cultural exchange on design and crafts. Through this innovative and interactive programme, the aim is to empower creativity, and cultural exchange about design and craftsmanship between Hong Kong and Japan as this Mastercraftsman show the true spirit of creativity and design of Kyoto.
